What is leadership? How do you know you are a leader? Is it possible to prove someone is a leader?

You can hold a leadership position and not be a leader. You can add leadership certifications to your LinkedIn profile and not be a leader.

You can be the quietest person on the team and be the strongest leader. You might never read a leadership book and be a leader.

Leadership is a commitment to always to be the best version of you. Over the past week, I’ve written about The Four Agreements (a book by Don Miguel Ruiz).

  1. Be Impeccable with your word.
  2. Don’t take anything personally.
  3. Don’t make assumptions.
  4. Always do your best.

In my leadership, I am always looking for a better version of me. I don’t always get it right. However, I know I will grow as a result. The four agreements keep me on track.

In your leadership, what might be different if you always look to be a better version of you?

You’ve got this.
